Families for Change (FfC)

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, together with its partners, is committed to implementing the Troubled Families Initiative in the borough. The local programme of delivery is known as Families for Change.

The local authority will lead the provision of multi-agency targeted support, or Early Help, to families with multiple problems, with the goal of improving outcomes for the families and reducing the demand that they make on public services.  All delivery is fully integrated into Rotherham's Early Help Service and families are identified, assessed and supported through the Early Help pathway.

The programme requires an additional level of outcomes monitoring to draw down payment by results funding as set out in the Troubled Families Financial Framework.

If a Rotherham family has any of the problems identified in the Troubled Families Financial Framework an Early Help Request for Support should be submitted.
